Amazon Prime Day is a great time to stock up on all the essentials for visiting Walt Disney World with little ones. Now through July 11th, Amazon Prime Members will have exclusive access to deals on millions of products. I’ve put together a list of 20 things that we bring with us when going to the Disney theme parks or on a Disney Cruise that are on sale right now for Prime Day. These are items that I’ve researched and tested and found to make our Disney trips more magical. My little ones are 4 ½ and 22 months old, so I focus on toys to keep them entertained during down time, ways to make snack and meal time easier as well as a few diaper bag and potty trip essentials. Everything is linked below and I hope it will help to make your next trip to Disney with little ones just as magical as they’ve made ours!

Toys and Games

  • Melissa & Doug Water Wow Books: My kids love Melissa & Doug toys. These Water Wow books are great for traveling. They come with a refillable water pen and 4 coloring pages. The picture appears as kids color the pages and once it dries, they can start all over again!

  • Magnets: Paired with a small magnet board, magnets can be a really fun way to keep kids entertained. I typically bring a small pouch of all different magnets in the diaper bag that both my kids enjoy. Also, if you’re planning a Disney Cruise, did you know some of the staterooms have magnetic walls? It varies between ship and stateroom type, but could be another great way for them to play with magnets.

  • Play Doh: A classic for a reason. We bring a few different colors and tools and more than one sit down meal has been saved thanks to Play Doh.

  • Lite Brite Touch: Reminiscent of the classic Lite Brite, this is a portable version of the game that’s great for traveling. There are different game modes that allow kids to create their own art, play games and add animations. It even comes with a few ideas you can create to get you started. It doesn’t make any sound, and both my little ones love it!

  • Eye Found It Card Game: This hidden picture card game was a big hit with my 4 ½ year old. It’s easy to learn and features all your favorite Disney characters.

  • Wooden Shapes Puzzle: Contains 36 colorful wooden shape pieces and 60 different pattern cards. My 4 ½ year old loves trying to make all the different pictures and will even create his own designs!

  • Magnetic Puzzle: We brought this on our Disney Cruise and it was a big hit. You get 3 different magnetic puzzles and it folds up to easily fit inside your diaper bag.

Diaper Bag Essentials

  • Changing Pad: Provides a soft, clean surface for diaper changes. It folds up compactly to fit into your diaper bag and can easily be wiped down after use.

  • Sunscreen: Nothing will ruin your once in a lifetime Disney trip faster than a sun burn. The Florida sun is unforgiving and protecting your skin is essential. We like the Sun Bum brand of sunscreen and the face stick

  • Sunscreen applicator: Putting on your kid’s sunscreen just got a whole lot easier. Fill the applicator with your own choice of sunscreen and the sponge and roller ball will help to more efficiently apply it in a mess free way.

  • Crocs: I added these here because they’ve been really helpful for both of my kids to have when we travel. They slide on easily and are great for those pop up Florida rain showers or water rides so you don’t have to worry about getting their other shoes wet.

Meals, Snacks and Drinks

  • Bluey Stackable Snack Containers: Both of my little ones like different snacks. I’ve found these stackable snack containers make bringing a variety of snacks much easier.

  • Simple Modern Lunch Box: My toddler is a very picky eater and won’t actually eat anything from the parks. I’ve found bringing a meal for him has been a much better option. This lunch box is the perfect size to hold food and a drink and tucks easily under our stroller. Paired with a couple of ice packs, and we’ve had no issues keeping food cold even during the Florida heat.

  • Simple Modern 40oz Tumbler: Staying hydrated while at Disney is essential. I found this tumbler from Simple Modern that was a more cost effective option compared to other brands. It’s insulated and can keep drinks cold all day, is dishwasher safe and has a leak proof lid.

  • Liquid IV: We always keep a few packets of Liquid IV handy as they’re a great way to hydrate faster than with water alone. It comes in a variety of flavors and is a must have for summer Disney trips.

For the Parents

  • Amazon Kindle: I love to read, and about 15 years ago I switched to the Amazon Kindle and have never looked back. It’s great for traveling so you can still read multiple books while avoiding the logistics of packing them all. It’s compact design makes it easy to fit into any bag and I highly recommend it for any avid readers.

Potty Training

  • Travel Urinal: I originally found this product for my son when he was potty training and it was an absolute game changer. It has a leak proof design and is so helpful when traveling or camping.

  • Potty Seat Covers: There are few places I enjoy visiting less than a public restroom. But with little ones, frequent trips to the potty are unavoidable. These extra large potty seat covers give me a little more peace of mind and provide my son with a more hygienic option. Easy to fit in the diaper bag and set up, I highly recommend these!

Travel and Packing

  • Packing Cubes: My first time using packing cubes was on our Disney Cruise and I’ll never go back to packing without them. I bought a different colored set of cubes for each of us and organized the clothes as I packed. Not only was I able to fit more, but staying organized was so much easier.

  • Travel Document Wallet: Something else I discovered for our Disney Cruise, this travel document wallet helps to keep all your important travel documents, like passports safe and organized. It has pockets inside for passports, credit cards and cash. The wrist strap makes it easy to carry with you and access as you’re going through security check points.

  • Waterproof Phone Pouch: A must need for Disney Cruises and if you have any pool time planned at your Disney hotel. These waterproof phone pouches will help keep your phone safe and secure during all of your swimming adventures or on water rides in the parks.

Final Thoughts

These are just a few of the products that I’ve found and I’m constantly on the lookout for more. Be sure to review my post on What’s In Our Stroller and Diaper Bag Visiting Walt Disney World With Kids for even more great finds.
